A New StoryWalk Book!

New StoryWalk Book At Hidden Valley Nature Center By: Amy Bedard

Spring is finally springing and while that means the snow is finally leaving, Mainers all know this brings on the next season: mud season! How can we enjoy the start of this messy time of year? By heading over to Hidden Valley Nature Center and reading our new Story Walk book!

The book “Pete the Cat: I love My Shoes” written by Eric Litwin and illustrated by James Dean, is about a indigo-hued, lanky cat named Pete walking down the street in his brand new white shoes. Along the way, his shoes change from white to other colors as he steps in piles of big messes! But, no matter what color his shoes are, Pete keeps movin’ and groovin’ and singing his song.
